I have some exciting news, a big announcement, and I am shutting down a baby of mine, something that I have had for seven years, and I am starting something new with you in mind. Welcome and Podcast Evolution

[00:00:45] Hello, everyone. And welcome. I am thrilled to be here with you for a very special announcement. I am going to give you a deeper look into what's to come on this podcast. If you are new to this podcast, welcome. It is changing just slightly. And if you followed along for a while, you know this space has been dedicated to helping you create meaningful habits, achieve goals, and ultimately build a life that feels both fulfilling and true to who you are. 

[00:01:15] It is all about authentic transformation and that will stay the same. But as I've continued on this journey with you, I felt called to go even deeper to focus, not just on achieving, but on thriving, not just on doing, but on being.

Introducing 'The Habit Within'

[00:01:31] And so today I'm so excited to announce the new name for this podcast. The Habit Within, beyond busy to bliss. The Habit Within speaks to that essential part of you that craves inner peace, even amidst the fullness and chosen chaos of our lives. For a lot of us, life feels like a constant cycle. Wake. Work. Do. Repeat. 

[00:02:00] We're busy. We're juggling responsibilities, managing finances, and for some of us, we're raising children or supporting loved ones. Many of us know what it's like to feel that burnout and frustration. Like we fall into bed at the end of the day, not having any space to really think, really create, really have time to even ask ourselves, what do we really want?

[00:02:25] It can feel like we're chasing bliss, a. k. a. joy, but rarely finding it. 

The Essence of Inner Peace

[00:02:30] That's where this podcast comes in. It's a space to not only reset and refocus, but to explore habits that move us towards a life that feels fulfilling, joyful, and balanced. And not like this work life balance crap, but where we can really have it all, but have it all from a place of inner peace.

[00:02:52] The Habit Within speaks to that essential part of you that craves inner peace, admits the fullness of life. For so many of us, you want to do it all. This isn't about scaling back or doing less, but about cultivating habits that let us live with all of the beautiful, sometimes messy parts of our lives.

[00:03:13] And still feel that sense of calm and joy at our core. So, why focus on the habit within? Because a real, authentic transformation doesn't come from actions we take externally. It starts from the inside. So often the external world affects our internal world when what we should be really focusing on is how our internal world can start to affect our external world.

[00:03:40] And we'll go into more details in the episodes to come. 

Challenges and Realities of Modern Life

[00:03:44] We, as women, have a lot on our plates, and I know firsthand how easy it is to get caught up in the endless cycle of to dos and self comparisons. It's so tempting to just jump from one quick fix to the next, just hoping that each new habit or routine will finally make us feel enough.

[00:04:05] How many of you out there have thought, maybe I should get on ozempic, right? Maybe I should do this next thing that everyone is telling me is the way to go, but I believe that peace, joy, and fulfillment and truly knowing what your next step is and what you need doesn't come from doing more, doesn't come from the external.

[00:04:28] It comes from the internal. But in order to really hear what is inside, what is coming up from your intuition, there needs to be inner peace. It comes from connecting to that steady, calm center within ourselves. That's what the habit within is here to help you do. To create a life of purpose and joy and calmness amidst your responsibilities and passions.

[00:04:53] We are multi passionate women and we don't want to slow that down. We're never gonna say no to the thing that we really want to do, even if we feel resentful. And what I want to teach you is to learn how to have it all without reason. And it's about doing so in a way that respects your unique strengths.

[00:05:13] Your goals and the beautiful life that you've built and want to continue to build. So if you're a woman over 35, you might find yourself balancing a full life work, family, personal passions, maybe managing the household finances or caring for loved ones. You may have goals for health and wealth and happiness, yet the journey feels like a cycle of progress and setbacks.

[00:05:37] I'm reaching a goal only to slip back to square one again. Who is with me? I call this person the harbinger of habits. Going along, we're making some steady progress, and then we slip back into old patterns that no longer service. 

Beyond Traditional Self-Improvement

[00:05:54] Here on The Habit Within, I want to go beyond traditional self improvement.

[00:05:58] I actually want it to be more about personal growth, because when we can grow as a person into who we truly, fully are, who we were meant to be on this planet, then that has a positive ripple effect on everyone else around us. This is not about fixing you. You are not broken. This isn't about perfection.

[00:06:21] It's about progress. It's about exploring those inner habits, the thoughts, the self talk, the beliefs, and the perspectives that can either lift us up or hold us back. And yes, we'll still talk about tangible habits because, you know, that's a thing. But with a focus on how we can connect back to your center, helping you achieve not just a better life, but a life that feels right and peaceful for you.

[00:06:46] So what you can expect from The Habit Within is that we're going to keep diving into topics that support your journey towards inner peace, self regulation, and intentional, authentic living. Every episode is designed to give you both inspiration, which by the way, recently, somebody was asking me about what my podcast was about.

[00:07:06] And I said, it was an inspirational and motivational podcast. And that was the first time I fully claimed who I was. Yes. I love to inspire people. Yes. I love to motivate people because one of my mottos is a hundred percent possible a hundred percent of the time. So I am stepping into that version of myself.

Practical Tips and Weekly Schedule

[00:07:27] And I will also give you some practical tips that fit into your already full life. I want you to walk away feeling empowered with something real you can use that very week to feel more connected, grounded, and connected. and at ease. And yes, I've heard from some of you about the episodes feel like there is a lot there.

[00:07:49] They might be short and sweet, which I will commit to keeping them short because I've heard that you guys really are enjoying that small consumable content, but that there's some juicy aspects in there. And usually we're listening to a podcast while folding laundry. Or driving or working on the gym. So keep an eye out in the show notes for downloadable PDF that will have those weekly action steps in the PDF, so you can fill them out as your weekly homework assignment or growth work assignment, I should say.

[00:08:23] Also, you're welcome to join my email list because then you'll receive the attached PDF to that particular episode in my weekly email. So you can go either one of those routes. Also, let me tell you a little bit about the schedule. Going forward, I will still release an episode weekly, but just as you may have noticed the past couple of weeks, sometimes that episode might come out on a Tuesday.

[00:08:47] Sometimes it might come out on a Wednesday. Sometimes it might come out on a Thursday. I practice what I preach. And I am really committed to my weekly calendar, but I'm not committed to my day by day calendar. My week changes every single week is different than the week before. So I need to have flexibility in my schedule to be able to commit to working on a podcast episode on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

[00:09:12] And this is some of the information, some of the tips and tricks that I will teach you along the way too, is how can we have the feminine approach and energy to our lives yet still get stuff done. Okay. So that's that. Uh, just so if you've wondered why am I not getting an episode routinely every Tuesday, that is why.
